Hotel review "Das Hotel Plarrer" Nuremburg Germany

I hope I can save one person from not staying in the hotel. This hotel is old and outdated. The rooms are not very nice. The pictures they show on the web...only the outside photos are correct.
When we arrived we were told by the person working the front desk we could pay when we checked out, we could pay by credit card, however they preferred cash and when we asked about the free hotel parking we were told it was full, even though we were the only guests staying there.

The lady who says she is the owner and manager was very rude and ugly to our group (we rented 3 rooms from this hotel). We had a sick traveler with us and when we tried to take that person a cup of tea from the breakfast room she began to yell at us. Then she accused us of not paying for our rooms and advised us breakfast was not included. We tried to explain we were told breakfast was included in what we paid and we were told we could pay at check out. She said no at her hotel you pay first and with cash. We explained that cash was not possable and told her we would pay with credit card. She stood and yelled and argued with us round and round for over 30 min.in the breakfast room. She treated us like second class people, not as paying guests in her hotel. This hotel knows nothing of customer service.
The ONLY good thing I can say is that they are close to the U-baun station. I wish I would have followed one of RS suggestions and stayed there instead of here.

HI Lisa. For a larger audience who should know about this dump, put a review on Trip Advisor

Putting a review at Tripadvisor would be useful.

There is a single review at Holidaycheck.de and it is equally as bad. (1.5* out of 6*) with appropriate negative comments.

Oh trust me I put the bad reviews out there. It probably had not been posted just yet by the TA folks. I found 5 websites that would let me leave reviews and I did. I have never had a bad experiance in Europe like I did at this hotel. I don't think this lady liked American's. We saw how she treated a Turkish man (we think she was also Turkish married to a German man) and it was nothing like how she treated us. And let me state we are not Ugly American travelers. We travel the Rick Steve's way with repspect for a country, culture and people. So there was not reason for her to treat us this way.

"I don't think this lady liked American's."

Perhaps. The bad review on Holidaycheck.de was in German. His complaints were about the quality of the stay and lack of service.
