We stayed at this hotel because R.S. recommended it. I am so glad that we did. This is a great little hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. This was probably the best hotel I have stayed in, in Europe. The family that runs this hotel really know how to treat their guests. The breakfast in the morning was great. Very nice [INVALID]ion of food items. A memeber of the Beck family checked on us every morning at the breakfast table. They asked us if we were enjoying our stay, needed anything else and gave us great advice on where to eat and what to do in the area. Just over all really nice people run this hotel (for over 100 years). I would love to go back and stay here again. Rick Steve's was correct in recommending this hotel.

Rick has a website for feedback on hotels, restaurants and other topics for every guidebook. But you really have to search for it. Go to http://www.ricksteves.com/books/feedback/index.cfm
and select the guidebook that includes Ruette, which would be Germany, next to Fuessen. I wish he would make that website easier to locate. I always go there when planning a trip to see the best and worst lists in the feedback section. Anyway, you need to pass your review along in that section so that people who are planning a trip to Ludwig's castles can refer to it.
