Group of five cyclists will be spending 2 nights in Innsbruck, Austria on the 12th of June, 3013. We would like a accommodation near the railway station and river. The price we would prefer to pay would be a maximum of 80 Euros per night for 2 people. Does anyone have a suggestion for a quality hotel, pension, guest home, etc. that you would recommend? Thanks!

Since you haven't been flooded with replies: In 2008 we stayed at Hotel-Restaurant Happ. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the train station and about a block from the river. We paid 88 euros for a one-night stay for two people.

A very nice place just across the river from downtown is: www.pensionpaula.at The price is also right, and public transportation goes into that area. I also like to stay at Kranebritten when driving. It's on the northwest side of the airport at the end of the runway2 miles from town. There are a couple of very nice hotels and restaurants there. If you're coming in by train, there is a tourist information booth at the train station that can book you into inexpensive closeby accommodationswalk up. Innsbruck is absolutely breathtaking scenery, and the people are really great.
