If anyone has any suggestions for places to stay in Nancy, France I would be interested. Thanks.
I was very impressed with the hotel de Guise (http://www.hoteldeguise.com) when I stayed there a couple of years ago. Not too pricey, free wi-fi, and a very nice old building in a quiet central area. Only downside as far as I thought was the lack of lifts, although they have ground-floor rooms if that will be a big problem for you. (The other minor downside is that the area around it is perfectly safe but a little creepy at night if you're nervous - think shadowy narrow streets of seventeenth-century townhouses where people in swashbuckler films would sneak around stabbing each other.)
