We are in Madrid for 4 days then flying to Barcelona for 3 days and then flying back to Madrid the night before we come back to the US. We want to stay close to the Madrid Airport so we can get right there in the morning for a flight. Any suggestions??? Thanks, Martha

Check the Accor chain of hotels, very popular in Europe. Their Ibis and Etap hotels are modern and clean, and many offer shuttles. Don't discount their ritzier Novotel or Sofitel hotels at the Campo de Las Naciones either. That's a big convention center very near the airport as well, and they might have good deals on weekends, or at times when no big conventions or exhibitions are going on. If you find an Accor airport hotel and it doesn't say that it has a shuttle, you can enquire by sending an e-mail to HXXXX at accor.com, where the four X's represent the four-digit hotel code, found on each website, which identifies each Accor hotel. www.accorhotels.com
