My wife and I will need a hotel room near Charles De Gaul

If you are flying out the next day, I would suggest the Sheraton Hotel located in the airport. When we had a flight back to the states we simply walked down to Air France,dropped off our bags and then went back to the hotel for breakfast. Easy and stress free. Jennifer

One of the Accor hotels mentioned by Bets is the Ibis Paris CDG Airport Hotel which is located next to Terminal 3. It is close by the CDG 1 RER station and a stop on the free 24/7 CDGVAL driverless shuttle train that links all the terminals.

We have stayed at the Ibis at CDG and liked it very much especially the convenience of getting to the shuttle. We will be there again in October.

ross, If you absolutely want to be close to CDG, the Sheraton is the best choice, as it's located right in Terminal 2 (as I recall). If you just need a place to sleep for the night prior to your flight, it doesn't get any more convenient than that! Happy travels!
