Can someone suggest a nice hotel not too far from Barcelona's Franca Station?

You can use the locator map on Tripadvisor to find hotels by location. Four that are really close are Park Hotel Barcelona, Hotel de Mar, Hotel Oasis, and Hotel Colonial. Just a bit farther, going toward the Picasso Museum and las Ramblas area, are Ciutat de Barcelona and Banys Oriental. That last one has a lot of fans on Tripadvisor. You can read reviews of all of them there.

Unfortunately I am not personally acquainted with any of those hotels, but maybe someone else here is.
