Hotel Münchner Kindl in Munich

Just wanted to say, we've been staying her the past few days and this hotel is great. It is small and simple, but the service is awesome and their breakfast includes eggs, instead of only bread and cold cuts, which seems to be the norm. We've been really impressed and wanted to pass it along.

Are the eggs soft boiled? I always look forward to having soft boiled eggs with breakfast in Germany. Only once there have I had eggs any other style. In Osterhofen last August my hostess served a fried egg (called a Spiegelei). (Maybe her egg cooker was broken).

Stayed at this place two summers ago. The rooms on the inside 'courtyard' are noisy (you can hear the folks doing dishes downstairs, and some character had his TV going full blast all night) and smoky (the staff smokes and the smoke rises into open-windowed rooms). Breakfast was stale and uninspiring. Never again!
