We have stayed at this hotel several times and enjoyed it, but only in a basic room. This time we are considering a triple, because this is a working vacation for my husband who may be up early in the morning for conference calls and meetings, so the idea of a little separation from the main bedroom sounds appealing. Could you provide a bit more information if you've stayed in a triple or family room - I'm afraid my French is so terrible, I've totally confused the hotel with my weird questions! What I'm wondering is: was the second bed area separate from the bedroom? And was the W/C accessible without going through the main bedroom? Thanks for an info you could offer. If you remember your room number, I would see if I could request that from the hotel, too. Thanks again, Christine.
There's a photo on their website - click on 'rooms and rates'. FWIW, this photo, which is very likely NOT representative of all of their triple rooms, actually shows a small dividing wall. In my experience, they just stick another bed in the room. They look just like this hotel's double rooms, only with three beds. If you truly want a suite, you'll need to book a suite, OR book an apartment; an apt. is my suggestion.
thanks, Eileen. The hotel doesn't have suites, or I'd jump on it. They do have a flat, but the W/C is through the bedroom so that is why I'm curious about this triple and seeing whether it would do. One reply I received from a family who stayed in this room said that there was no wall at all there, so go figure. Sorry for the duplicate post - not sure how that happened and if I can figure out how to take down the other, I'll do it.

(for your duplicate thread - if you go to it, under your name there is a line in red, if I remember correctly, with 'delete' and 'edit') Does your husband have to stay at THIS hotel? Paris is very large ;-) I'd look at VRBO, etc., and get an apartment. Or, look at other hotels...Another strategy is to book a single room in addition to one for the 2 of you (just the two of you?). If he's getting up THAT early, he'll want to get to bed early...it could be win-win for both/all of you. You'd want to make clear in your reservation request that you'd like the rooms to be near each other, but don't be shocked if they're nowhere near each other :-(
thanks again, Eileen. I think I deleted the duplicate! Nope, we do not need to stay at this hotel - just that we have before (several times) and have had good service and clean rooms and great location, so we could hit the ground running. We are definitely looking into a flat - maybe Montmartre. Budget is an issue with renting two rooms, so you are correct, a flat would likely be a better deal. But it is certainly something to keep in mind. I sure as heck hope he's not going to be going to bed early and getting up early on a regular basis! But, it would be nice for him to disappear into another room if necessary :-) Christine
