Has anyone stayed here? TripAdvisor has reviews that are both pro and con.

I'm sorry I don't have any info for you about the Mercure Amsterdam....In 2005 three of us stayed in a triple at Hotel Maas which we really enjoyed; the price was ok because we were each paying our own way. We wanted to get into Hotel Keizershof but their triple was already taken.
I always take the TripAdvisor reviews with a grain of salt....If there are a lot of negative reviews, I'm cautious. If there are mostly good reviews and depending on what the people did complain about, I figure it's probably just a regular complainer. I suspect that some of the good reviews are from the hotel employees and some of the bad reviews could be from competing hotels!
