This is in the 11th an just outside tkhe Marais district.
We love walking and very interested in places of interest in this area. Also, would we need to take the Metro to get to the Eiffel Tower and if so, which line?

Not sure if you're looking for responses about this hotel. I stayed there this fall and found it to be a great deal and a well-run hotel in a very good location. Just steps away from Place des Vosges and other highlights of the Marais. Bastille Metro stop is very close. From a quick look at the map, one option would be to take the #5 down to Place d'Italie and change for #6 west to Champs de Mars/Tour Eiffel.

Jackie, if you walk from the hotel to rue St. Antoine, which is where you would walk to anyway to take the metro, the No. 69 bus (Direction Champs de Mars written on the front) will terminate at the Champs de Mars, a very, very short walk from the Eiffel Tower. And the No 69 has a very scenic route.
