Anyone have any good recommendations for a place to stay in Lyon? I will be there serveral days (4 most likely)in June. Thanks!

Wow, I actually have some knowledge here because we're going to be in Lyon in June also. Try hotel de Celestins. Or try Centre Internationale de Sejour or cis-lyon.com. I got this advice on these boards & I'm so thankful for it.

I'm looking at the 2-3 star price range. I know it will be pricey in June. The place that has been recommended to me by several people is already booked so now I am looking at what's left. Do you know anyting about Saint-Paul in old town? It has gotten good reviews online as a modest but nice place to stay.
We want some place in old town (pricy I know) or else easily accessible to all the tourist-y stuff without a vehicle.

Rick (France 2008) gives 6 hotels that are 2 and 3-star. The St Paul is not in his list but that doesn't necessarily mean anything (he picks in certain areas)--but the St Paul is also not listed in the Michelin red guide, and that does tell you something useful about it. A hotel in the old part of town that is listed in Michelin is College at 5 pl. St Paul, google it for a website.
