Hotel Le Regent in Paris

Has anyone stayed at this hotel at 61 Rue Dauphine in Paris? It's not in Rick's book but looks nice on their website so we are looking for any feedback. Thanks!

I stayed there this past August. I stayed in a deluxe room, the standard rooms are SMALL, but I had booked a standard intially as I was going alone, when a friend decided to join me I upgraded, thank goodness as standard room would allow two people, but talk about tight( I peeked in one when maid was cleaning it).
Our room was lovely, large bathroom ( for Paris) with nice tub and shower, lots of hot water and good pressure. Clean and clean can be,, room had a/c and a safe which we used every day. It also had a mini fridge which was great for the drinks we bought at the little store around the corner.
The staff were very nice, the older gentleman didn't speak much but he always had a sweet smile, the younger staff spoke english well.
The location is A1,, absolutely loved area, many little cafes around, and a nice market and only 5 minute walk to metro, shops on St Germain, Notre Dame the Seine, well, I can't complain about area one bit.
Elevator is small and slow but works fine,

stairs are hilarious winding around in a triangle shape. Floor in room seemed to have a slight slant, which was barely noticable but we liked it as it gave character, I am NOT into American style chain hotels with no character.Nice streetscape type view from our room. Check out photos on tripadvisor.com .

I would stay there again but rates are a bit high, if you don't mind the rates I thoroughly recommend the deluxe rooms , and the standard if you don't mind tiny.
Clean, safe area, nice staff, what more do you want??

The cafes in the area are good too, try the mussels and frites at the Atlas.

If its four star luxury don't go though its a solid stay but not fancy.
