Does anyone know why Rick Steves does not recommend the Hotel Kristall in his Germany 2013 book? We were planning to stay a this hotel in June since free breakfast is included. Thank You!

Which city are you speaking about? There is more than one Hotel Kristall in Europe. There are 1000's and 1000's of great hotels that offer free breakfast and they can't all be put in a book. That is why using the internet is so much fun, plus it is more up to date too. Have you checked the reviews for this hotel on Trip Advisor?
