Hotel in the Latin Quarter of Paris

I'm about to take my first trip to Paris--a lifelong dream. I want to stay in the Latin Quarter and I'm looking for a hotel with room that has a/c and a large bathroom. Any suggestions?

Hi Jo Anne,
In addition to thinking of hotel rooms, you may want to consider renting an apartment. I recommend you see this web site ...www.vacationinparis.com/...

Vacation-in-Paris is a US company with head office on this side of the Atlantic. At the web site you will see "contact" at the bottom of the home page. Click on it to get the toll free number to discuss things. Click on "All Apartments" to see pricing, location, photos, etc. If you rent one they manage, you will likely have the key to your Paris apartment before you leave Minneapolis.

I have never rented an apartment from Vacation-in-Paris, but I have seen comments at this RS web site from several who have - and their glowing reports of enjoyment with the arrangements.

Hope your trip is terrific! bon voyage! P.

Jo Anne -

One item to remember about Paris is that many hotels still do not have air conditioning. Because of this, you will be expected to apy more for a room with air conditioning. Large bathrooms can also be a premium. Depending upon what you would like to spend You might try the Lutetia.

This will give you an idea of "high-end" in the St. Germain area.
