This is my first trip to Spain. My daughter is doing immersion classes and I am going to visit her in Granada. I have heard there is a hotel that serves 2 meals a day. Where would you stay? How much should I expect to pay? It is me and my older daughter traveling together. Last post I saw was from 2009

Debbie - We stayed at the Hotel Casa 1800 Granada (it was formerly called the Room-mate Migueletes). It is still one of my favorite little hotels in Europe - great courtyard, location and cute rooms. We stayed in a basic twin room and it was nice but the higher end rooms were much more grand. They don't serve 2 meals a day per say, but they do have breakfast and afternoon tea. When we were there they also did wine tasting. I remember the rates fluctuated and we got a special online. There is an elevator and airconditioning and I think it's non-smoking hotel.
