Can you recommend a nice hotel or B&B with a room that is on the ground floor or has a lift? My husband can walk fine but he has arthritis in his knees and cannot go up or down stairs, more than 4 steps if they are not steep.

I stayed at the Althoelnischer Hotel in Bacharach. It is right in the heart of the town. They did have a small lift.
