I'm trying to decide between a few hotels in Avignon. I've been to the city several times and will be travelling with a 2 year old this trip. I've read the reviews on trip advisor and still can't decide which one to choose that would be right for my family. Has anyone stayed at the following hotels? Hotel Boquier, Hotel Garlande, Hotel d'Angleterre, Hotel Medieval, Grand Hotel Avignon

Haven't stayed in any of the above. Presumably, they are in town. However, if you are using Avignon as a base and will be driving out of town to other Provence destinations, I would recommend consideration of the Holiday Inn. It is about 6 years old, a block from the TGV station, and offers a large, free parking lot. Rooms are large. There is a frequent shuttle bus into town which takes about 10 minutes and is a euro or 2.
