My husband and I are looking for a hotel or B&B in Avignon for one night. Any suggestions?

I've stayed at Hotel du Parc several times. It is a few minutes walk from the central train station, inside the walls and next to a park.

I can highly recommend a B & B, Le Clos du Rempart in the old town. You will wish you stayed more than one night though!!! Our stay in this house and in the region of Provence was the highlight of our recent trip to France.

We stayed one night at the Hotel De L'Horgue a couple of years ago. It is right on the main plaza (can't remember name), with lots of restaurants and the papal palace within 1-2 minutes walk. It is old and charming and was 113 euros per night at that time.
I would stay there again because of the price and location. I reserved it on Venere.com.
