My husband and I will be flying into Amsterdam in early July and are planning on spending two days in Amsterdam before we take the train to Germany. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good hotel or B&B?

We just stayed at the Hotel Brouwer, which is an old canal house. It was great. It includes breakfast, though we were not able to stay for that because we were only there for one night and we had an early train to catch.

You should look at Maes B&B. Very nice and reasonable rates. Sorry I don't have website but you can google.
