We have stayed in the Hotel Kranenturm and it was lovely. We will be going back and wondered if the Hotel Hillen was as nice as the Kranenturm. Is it located in the midieval wall?

Hotel Hillen is located facing the Railroad tracks. Stayed there in 2004 and we requested a room on the quiet (ruhig) side away from the tracks. An older building, as most are in Bacharach, but the rooms are clean and we slept fine and the trains did not bother us. I cannot compare with Hotel Kraneturm since I have never stayed there. We inquired about a room at Hotel Kraneturm but they were booked so we opted for Hotel Hillen. They are close to one another if I remember correctly.
