Hotel Hauser/Marianne Velich Sankt Goar

I also tried to communicate by the email that I have and also just called the Hotel Hauser in St Goar by phone about 5 minutes ago. A recording comes on saying no longer a working number. This is odd. My brother and I were there last April and May 2011 and everything was fine. I am wondering if the hotel has been sold and now a new owner? Does anyone know about the Hotel Hauser?

I have just called a friend in St Goar, and found out that the Hotel Hauser is currently closed and may reopen next year. Let's hope it does, because Marianne Velich is a wonderful hostess and the staff is also attentive and enjoy serving its guests. So many memories are shared by those who have stayed at the Hotel Hauser.

Thanks Jerry.... I've stayed many times and Marianne and her staff are just wonderful. I too hope everything is OK. Let us know..and I will also..if you hear anything. I'll pop a card in the mail for her today.

I'm currently in St Goar staying at the Rheinhotel run by Marianne's nephew Gil just down from Hotel Hauser. I asked him this morning at breakfast and he has said that Marianne is fine. During my early morning walk this morning I see there is a real estate agency sign in the window.
