I called Hotel Granvia yesterday and was quoted a room rate w/o breakfast of 95 euro. I decided to send an e-mail and request a Rick Steve's rate, it was 128.40 euro, including tax. When I used the Hotels website the rate was only 80.25 euros, not including 7% tax. I received an e-mail confirmation of this rate. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this or other Hotels in Spain?

We stayed at Hotel Granvia last May and probably paid the higher room rate. Be warned that if you get a room on the front facing Granvia it will be the noisiest room you will ever experience. I specifically requested a room on the back to avoid the noise issue and failed to print out their email reply that we would have a back facing room so we arrive and get a room right on the front. The staff there is unfriendly and not pleasant. They were very reluctant to even call a taxi for us when we checked out. The location is convenient but I would never stay there again.
