Hotel Eugenie- Paris

I have stayed at this hotel, I have also referred and had my dad and his friend stay at this hotel. It is VERY central, walk from the ST Michel RER /metro station, steps to river, 5 minutes if that to Notre Dame. Area is a bit busy with mostly pedestrian traffic, but i found i slept well with double paned windows shut and air conditioning on. Mini fridge in room. Clean. I had room with shower only and was pleased with shower size,, my dad got a larger room that had a tub shower combo and he thought that was not as good as its a stand in the tub with a half enclousure for the shower, whereas my shower only room had a nice shower booth. Staff were very helpful, i was interested in a tour and a desk clerk spent 20 minutes at least trying to help me find something,, even phoning places for me.
Downsides,,hotel had an elevator, but to get to my room you still had to go up 4-5 stairs.. hmm,, thats about it, I would stay there again.

Pat... thanks...I thought it looked like a good location as well as a great value. I don't care about the elevator as I usually take the steps, but I like to send my bag up the elevator:)
