Hotel Eiffle Seine

We are booked there are the moment in couple of weeks for our trip to Paris. Trying to get a room for a last minute trip has been exhausting, as everything is totally booked that is in an affordable range. Has anyone stayed here or know the area at all? Are we anywhere near restaurants or cafes and is it a decent area?

I haven't stayed at this hotel but if it's called the Eiffel Seine Hotel (many with similar names) it's a decent area and perfectly safe, although not my favorite. Kinda soul-less. It's in the 15th arrondissement which I've stayed in but the actual area where this hotel is isn't my fave. It's just not the charming part of Paris that I love. But you're in walking distance to the river, the ET and right by a Metro stop (Bir-Hakeim) and an RER stop, so that's a plus. The hotel rates well on TripAdvisor and from their website and photos it looks sleek and very nice. If it's all you can find, I would relax and not worry about it, it will be fine. Just a thought.. if you'd like something less expensive, but not as sleek, try Hotel de l'Avre, also in the 15th. We stayed here for 6 wks and liked it a lot. Charming little French hotel, wonderful owner and staff, has a lovely garden and is near a Metro stop where 3 lines intersect which makes getting places easier. It's near many cafes and restaurants, a great Monoprix, an outdoor market and is in walking distance to the ET. *Just sent you a private message with more info..
