We will be staying at this hotel in Murren Switzerland. Is it closer to use the
Gondola coming up from Lauterbrunnen or the one from Stechelberg to mbe closer to the hotel?

If you look at the "Lageplan" on the hotel website, you will see that it is much closer to the train station than to the gondola station of the Schilthornbahn (coming up from Stechelberg): http://www.edelweiss-muerren.ch/hotel/portrait/lageplan.html So you would take the cablecar up from Lauterbrunnen to Grutschalp, and transfer to the little train for the short ride to Mürren.

We will be staying in Murren for 8 days. I am staying at Chalet Fontana. Some of us are staying at the Edelweiss. I just needed to make sure we all come up from Lauterbrunnen. Thank you form your help! Are the wildflowers in bloom yet and the cows in the meadow around Murren?

I'll have a look! And thank you Tim for introducing me to Murren several years ago. This will be my 3rd trip. My son and wife and I are actually staying at the CHALET Fontana and the rest of the family is at the Edelweiss.
