Hotel close to Paris De Gaulle Airport

There are Ibis hotels at two of the terminals at CDG.

Hi Gloria--We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express near CDG. There is a large hotel area near CDG with shuttle service to/from the airport, and many of the major chains have hotels there. If you have a particular chain you like (Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, Sheraton, Holiday Inn...) google and see if they have one. The hotel zone is in Roissy-en-France. The Ibis has really good rates and is a reliable chain; you'll see many recommendations for them on this site.

The Ibis hotels mentioned by Norma are part of the Accor hotel chain. Accor has 25 hotels near CDG ranging from high-end to budget. Ibis is sort of in the middle. Below them in price are Etap and Formule 1. Go to www.accorhotels.com and enter Roissy as the location. The pages you'll get show the pricier hotels first. Etap and Formule 1 are on page two.

If you pick a hotel close to the airport, you can ride the free Accor shuttle bus between your hotel and CDG. On the budget end those are Etap Hotel Roissy CDG Paris Nord 2 and Formule 1 Roissy Aéroport CDG PN 2. The Web site tells you which Ibis hotels are located at CDG.

I stayed at an IBIS hotel once in Syndey Aus
by the airport. I thought I was going to go out of my mind. The room was small, cramped. the staff were horrible. It really put a damper on what had been a beautiful holiday.
I woule NEVER stay at one of these hotels again.

I've stayed at the Ibis and Etap hotels at Paris Nord 2 several times without problems. Comfortable rooms and helpful staff. If you're heading out early, their 4 Euro breakfast (coffee, tea, juice...toast, cereal, etc) is quick and certainly cheaper than airport food. About a 15 minute shuttle ride. Lots of businesspeople and airline crews staying there.

I have stayed at the Ibis hotels by CDG, they are a nice functional airport hotel. no frill but all the basics you would need

right now they are offering a non-refundable internet special for 49 euros for May which includes breakfast!

Hotel code: 1404) The hotel is always clean (small rooms), the RER station is in the same building, the shuttle bus runs to the terminals, the Renault Eurodrive return office is across the street, and the breakfast room opens at 4:00am. Not fancy, but it works.

There is a Sheraton that is actually located inside of CDG. It goods good reviews on tripadvisor, but it is a little pricey.

Maybe it's because I am checking Ibis for two rooms, but the prices on Tripadvisor isn't anything like what the web site is showing me. Close to 200 euros for a night? Good heavens. A room for 4 people is coming in at 171 euros.
