Hotel Cancellation Policy explanation

Some hotels in Paris show the following regarding their cancellation policy. Am I correct for this example, that a cancellation 2 days before arrival has NO penalty?

Cancellation fee for this date, per type:
Classic Double Room A
Superior Double Room A

A 1 NO SHOW : the first night, without extras
2 1 day(s) before arrival : the first night, without extras

Please tell us which hotel and give us a URL reference so we can see it in context....

As I read it (in both languages) it gives two conditions: no show and night before. Both have the same penalty. Cnx two nights prior is without penalty. Didn't spot what "extras" were, but probably morning grub cost would not be part of penalty.

I think it is saying the same - cancel 2 days ahead with no penalty. It's easier with most U.S. hotel chains where they say 48 hour cancellation, etc.
Thanks for helping.

Just to confirm the previous posters...if you cancel less than 2 days prior to your arrival, you'll be charged for one night.
