We will be leaving from Nice on an early flight and would like any recommendations for a nice hotel near the airport. We will be dropping the car off the night before, so shuttle service to the airport would be a plus. Thank you for any ideas. Bonnie

This isn't exactly what you were asking for, but for what it is worth...
We stayed at Hotel Suisse - on the opposite end of the beach from the side the airport is on. However it cost 160 Euro and we had a balcony with a sea view.
Now we had a 7:30 flight out of Nice and I was nervous (always nervous about connections). The hotel arranged a cab for us to be picked up at 5:00am. I had read it could take 30-40 minutes to get to the airport. Because it was so early, there was no traffic and we zipped to the airport in 10 minutes. I think the cab was 30 euro. And he was there on time - it worked perfect. We were there with all kinds of time to kill.
I liked our hotel a lot and would not hesitate to stay there again. A view of the sea for 160 euro was a great deal.
