Hotel/B&B in Murren Switzerland

We have stayed at Chalet Fontana as a family group of six. Four of us stayed in the 2bdr. ground floor apartment, and two stayed upstairs in the B&B. We were very comfortable and the combo was very affordable. Most regular apartments will have a week minimum,mor at least a three-n ight minimum. Chalet Fontana does not have a minimum stay requirement; you can stay by the night.

It is all in what you call reasonable. We stayed at the Alpina and requested a valley side room. The room was small and the price was a bit steep, but when we squeezed out onto our balcony the view was worth a million dollars and the price became very reasonable. When you stay in a place like Murren, go the extra few bucks to take advantage of the setting and cut a corner somewhere else down the line. Have a great time.
