We are traveling to Cologne, Germany and would like some recommendations for a hotel/ B&B near the Dom??

My favorite hotel in Cologne is the Coellner Hof Hotel. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Dom, but it is truly a wonderful hotel. Price runs about 75 euro for a double and includeds just about the best breakfast buffet I have ever had, anywhere. The decor is lovely, very old world charming, large beds and large baths. As a former hotel manager, after my stay here, as we walked out the door, I said "that is what a hotel should be", as everything was so well thought out for the guest.
We have now been there twice and would certainly stay there again.
