Anyone know of a good but inexpensive Hostel in the heart of Paris? Essentially I am looking for a clean place with clean sheets, where I will be safe and won't get bed bugs :) Thanks! -Hope

Try the Mije. There are three, but the one in the Marais is probably the most convenient, it's on Rue de Fourcy.

I did and they are booked out for one of the nights I need. Has anyone heard of Le Montclair Montmartre?

Like Ed, I would have recommended the MIJE hostels. For the record, all three are in the Marais and they are within a few blocks of each other. Another hostel that gets consistently good reviews is Le Village Hostel, www.villagehostel.fr, in Montmartre.
