We will be in France & Belgium this January (maybe Switzerland). Is there a village we can visit to experience a sleigh ride? We are not skiers, but would like to enjoy the snow & scenery of a quaint village or town.
We need to travel by train.

I think I remember seeing a horse and carriage in Brugges when I was there last Dec. Not sure if they go out into the countryside, if that is what you were thinking.

Brugge has a fleet of horse-drawn carts, but not sleighs. You won't find these in Belgium because the snow cover isn't consistent enough.
Your best bet would be one of the resorts in the Alps. I saw at least one horse-drawn sleigh making the rounds in Grindelwald last Christmas. I would imagine Chamonix might offer something similar. St. Moritz is known for holding polo matches in the snow, so perhaps with all those horses they also offer sleigh rides?
