Has anyone used homeparisien.com to book an apartment in Paris? I am trying to confirm they are a reputable firm before booking with them

After reading this on TripAdvisor I would be extremely skeptical about giving them my money: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187147-i14-k5126196-USA_paris_HomeParisien_Imarketers_net_Inc_HomeInTown_Ltd-Paris_Ile_de_France.html Use one of the other Paris apartment providers that have received many good reviews.

Rhonda, STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I signed a contracted paid all fees and the day I arrived in Paris I received a TEXT message telling me that I no longer had an apartment and to make alternate arragements.
I was in Paris during the peak season with my mother and older anut it was horrible. We had to get an emergency hotel by the airport scamble to salvage things but the hotels were booked. To make things worst they have yet to priocess my refund. Do not do any business with Homeparisen.com. /Vacation Rental Services/Home In Town/IMARKETERS.NET. Good Luck

Do not use iMarketers.net or homeparisien.com or homeintown, etc. They are not reputable.
Do not send them your money.

Wow Vanessa that's like your biggest travel nightmare come true! Rhonda, We own a vacation house on homeaway.com and it is also affiliated with VRBO. Many take paypal (which hopefully eliminates Vanessa's nightmare) though I'm not sure if this applies out of the country.
It is a great alternative to a hotel. Good luck!
