Holland Rail Pass

I have information which may be outdated regarding a Euro Domino/Holland Rail Pass which offers 3,5 or 10 day unlimited rail travel in Holland. Has anyone any current information or experience with this rail pass? Must this pass be used on concurrent travel days? Hope to hear from someone before my departure date. Howard

I believe that the term Euro Domino is out of date. You can go to the tab at the top of the page labeled "Railpasses" for current information. To answer some of your question, about the only option for a single country is a pass that alots you so many travel days in a time period (3 or 5 days in a month). Unfortunately, Holland is tough to make a pass work, a pass travel day goes for about $60 US, and most point to point tickets in Holland would be less. Maybe if you were daytripping by hitting several spots, it might work. One bonus to consider is that the Holland pass is actually good for Holland, Belgium, and Luxembourg, so longer trips may make the pass worth it, or for not much more you can add Germany to the pass (or France) adding in the possibility of long trips that make a pass pay.

Rail passes only for Netherlands don't make sense. The maximum one-way fare for any travel itinerary within Netherlands is 23,10 Euro. If you are lucky, you might find special day tickets on sale, usually on promotions like € 46 for unlimited travel for 2 people or 17.50 unlimited day travel, often sold by NS commercial partners.
