My husband will be playing in the World Masters Games in Turin at the beginning of Aug/13. We plan to fly to Amsterdam around July 20 spend a couple of days with a local, then head off in the direction of Turin by train most likely. We plan to stop along the way in Germany, Switzerland and Austria but would greatly appreciate some recommendations on where to see and what to do. Am thinking Rottenburg, Germany and lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. We like less traditional tourist sites and want to do some hiking or biking. Looking forward to "your" ideas!
