Hi, My family will be traveling in Europe during Christmas, 2013. We plan to arrive in Paris (via Bruges) shortly after Christmas, and stay through the New Year. We are a group of 6 - 4 adults and 2 teens,looking for a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment. I've heard that the 14th & 15th Arrondissements offer better value and fewer crowds. I haven't had much luck with Vrbo, nor TripAdvisor. Any recommendations? We've been to Paris before, so we don't mind being a bit removed from the main tourist sites. Merci!

As you are checking the apartment rental sites, consider an apartment near Mo. La Motte Picquet-Grenelle in the 15th. Three major Metro lines run through it taking you to just about any part of the city you would like to go. I lived near this metro for two years and found the area to be fun and very convenient (just around the corner from the Champs des Mars and the Eiffel Tower near the Ecole Militaire.). Plenty of shopping and restaurants.
