Looking for suggestions for day hikes in Hohe Tauern National Park. We'll be based in Heiligenblut but will have a car. Looking for anything between 4 - 10 miles long. Any suggestions for eating and drinking in Heiligenblut also welcome.

Try posting on the German version of tripadvisor (http://www.tripadvisor.de/). Posting in English is fine and you'll get lots of feedback. Also I suggest contacting the tourist office in Heiligenblut. Generally here in Europe small town tourist offices are incredibly helpful and might even mail you some free hiking maps.
