Hiking the East/West German Border Trail (Iron Curtain Trail)

Has anyone hiked the German broder trail near Leubeck? We are planning on doing this is Sept for 3-4 days and would love to talk to anyone lest who has done this.We are trying to figure out what section to do and if it is easy to get overnight accommodations along the way etc. . Any help would be appreciated
