hiking near Schladming, Austria

I would appreciate comments/descriptions/suggestions from anyone who may have hiked in the area around Schladming, Austria. We have been invited to participate in a 4-day hike next month. First day going to Hans-Wodl-Hutte; second day to Preintalerhutte; third day to Gollinghutte; fourth day to Keinprechthutte. Thank you.

Judy, It's been 13 years, but we stayed for a week in Schladming in late April 2000. Our condo room was mostly a base from which to do day trips. One day involved a short hike to a waterfall above town on a well-maintained trail with a car shuttle to and from the trailhead. Nice, but not a hut-to-hut backpack, and most other days we traveled to other places, like Saltzburg. Since we were in Schladming in off-season, between ski season and summer, many shops were closed, but it looked like there were outdoor stores that should stock hiking gear, clothing, and supplies, if you didn't bring everything you need from home. We didn't realize or appreciate at the time that Schladming is a major World Cup ski site, so if you're interested, check out that scene and see if there's a ski racing museum or other info available during the summer. Have a refreshing "radler" (combination beer and french lemonade) after your hikes.
