Rick Steve's writes that the Schwarzsee-Furi-Zermatt hike takes "the better part of the day". About how many hrs does the hike take for experienced hikers?

Andrea,,, do you mean from the cable car to the Hornli hut,, if you do it depends on weather ,, I did it in 1 hour and 40 minutes,, my dad has done it 10 times,, ( with various people) and it has taken him from 1 30 ,, to 2 40,, depends on partner and trail conditions( my dad climbed the Matterhorn about 20 years ago,, and he likes to go back and look at it,, and visit the graveyard where one of the guides that took him up is buried( taking a climber up the next year!) I have also hiked all the way down to Zermatt, took me at least 3 hours as I recall,, was I sore the next day,, going down down down wears on you!lol

starting lower than the hut@ the gondola station @ Schwarzsee then going down to Furi in a roundabout way via Stafel and Zmutt.
