Hi all ---
we are in Europe for 13 days in March, I am spending 3 days in Austria...so planning to be in Salzburg for 2 days and Innsbruck for 1.
Any other suggestions? We don't have time to go to Vienna hence we will have to be in the Salzburg area. After this we are headingto Germany for 3.5 days.
Why not just stay in Salzburg and do a day trip up to Innsbruck. We did that on our most recent trip to Austria. The trains are regular and easy to use. Staying in one place gives you more flexibility and saves travle time.
Hi Kent,
I am finalizing my iten. now and have changed some things around based on expenses. I just got one reply on Innsbruck back then. You do not have to reply to any of my posts if you don't want to , this is an optional blog I thought and I am aware of the number of articles I have posted. And yes I do like advise. We went to Eastern Europe in 2006 without taking any advise and things didn't turn out well, so I just want to make sure I do things right this time around.
Hi Toni and Kent,
Thanks for the suggestions we will stay in Salzburg for 3 days and take a day trip to Innsbruck, this is a wonderful idea. :)
On your way to Innsbruck, stop in Hall. It has a lot of history for it's size. It's a good place for a few hours of sightseeing and some lunch before heading on to Innsbruck.
