Help trying to make reservations at la roseraie

I am trying to make reservations at La Roseraie in Chenonceaux. They are not replying to my email even though they said they would start email process in beginning of February. I called and the message said they wouldn't be open until end of March. Should I book a hotel somewhere else? Or do you think I can wait until end of March and rooms will be available? Based on so many great reviews we really wanted to stay there for three nights in July 2009. If I book somewhere else and cancel they will charge me 30%.

It is such a great place to stay, I'd wait until March. You can always find another place to stay but La Roseraie is special. We stayed there last fall and loved it. The walk to Chateau Chenonceau is beautiful and the small town of Chenonceaux is fun to walk around in. Have a great time.

Hi Jerry,
We ran into the same thing just about this time last year. The couple who own the place go on vacation. I think they return in early March. We had no trouble making our reservation for mid-June when they returned. I would suggest you wait---it was one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip last summer.
