Hello! We are planning to stay 6 nights in Gimmelwald at Esther's. We arrive a week from Sunday, 6/26. Today I checked the weather on weather.com and wunderground.com. Problem is, there is a considerable discrepancy between the two forecasts. Does anyone know which is more accurate or know of an even better site? Based on wunderground.com it's below freezing and snowing. Should the weather outlook be the same next week we will probably go elsewhere. The concellation policy on our room is Monday... Thanks!

Thanks for the webcam link. Gives us another data point! Rain and cool temperatures don't worry us. We have been previously and only expect visibility part of the day, etc. However, one forecast is showing snow and temps in the 20s F. We'll be travelling with a two little ones & would like to avoid the extreme cold. One website is quoting highs in the 40s and the other highs in the 20s...Don't know what to make of it!

We were there last yr out of 5 days it was storming only one and sprinkling on another. It is a remarkable valley I hope the best for you. However if you go you may not have luck going up to Jungfrau. We skipped it has weather was cloudy or raining the entire 5 days of our visit. But we saved lots of CHF by not going also.

At least you did the right thing in planning a 6 night stay. You'll maximize your chances of at least some good weather.

There is nothing reliable of Gimmelwald weather. But with six days there the odds are in your favor to experience all kinds.
