Thought I had a hotel - found out last night won't work. I have my 70 year old mother & 10 year old daughter with me (I'm 49 yr old woman not in good shape). My mom uses walker and can NOT do stairs or walk far. Desparately need affordable triple room with toilet & shower/bath in room for 2 nights. T
Panarama Hotel and Alantic Hotel are well reviewed . Looks like the Panarama one is close to the Santurary . I would hop to it and contact as many hotels as you can, finding triples is never easy as doubles or twins.

Teresa, you do know that Lourdes just had really bad flooding at the grotto and town....please check it out if you have not done so yet !!!
I stayed at Hotel Chapelle et Parc and found it to be affordable and in a great location, about 1 block from the entrance (although that entrance has a little hill; about 2 blocks from the entrance that's a flatter walk). It was certainly one of the closest hotels. I've also had Hotel d'espagne recommended to me, but they were full when I checked, so I have no personal experience. I'd also suggest checking with the Domain to see if they can help. They have housing within the Domain for those who are ill; I just don't know how you'd "qualify" your mother; perhaps they could provide you with info.
Was able to get a reservation at
www.hotelcontinentallourdes.com We'll see how it goes. Yes - I know about the flooding (thank you though) we're going rain or shine for my mom :-)
