Help me adjusting my Paris Intinerary

Arriving at 10:00 via Eurostar on Friday 8/29.
Originally I had planned Day 1: Historic Walk (NotreDame,Sainte-Chapelle, etc.), Louvre (closes late on friday) and Eiffel tower. Day 2. Champs Elyses walk, Orsay, and Versailles. Day3. Marrais and/or Montmartre walks.

Should I swap Historic walk to day 2 with Champs Elyses walk considering the time I'll be arriving at 10;00am on day 1. By the time I start the Historic Walk NotreDame it will probably be very crowded around noon?

I like your first plan except you are aware that Versailles is a day trip outside of Paris, right? It would be tight to do Versailles, a walk and museum in a day unless you had it planned very well.

I also agree about reconsidering the timing of Versailles and the Musee d'Orsay. Versailles will take you about 30-40 minutes each way in travel time - there is about a 10 minute walk from the station to the palace. Lines can be long and the gardens and grounds are enormous. I have never been able to get through everything in one afternoon.

Notre Dame tends to wax and wan - you may find that it will not be as crowded on a Friday in late August.

Thanks for the advice. So instead of Orsay maybe I should only go to Champs Elyses and Verailles on day 2? or forget about Versailles since day 3 will be a sunday and I've read to avoid Versailles on sundays?
