I'm trying to book tickets for our trip to Munich in April. The best flight option for us leaves us with an hour to change plans in Frankfurt (flying from Munich, and then flying on to Charlotte). It's been forever since I've flown internationally. Will this be anywhere near enough time to make the connecting flight?

You will be undergoing regular security in Munich prior to your plane and then in Frankfurt there will be another check prior to boaring the international flight. Frankfurt has got a minimum connecting time of 45 minutes and all the Star Alliance gates are in the same terminal building (T1). If a regular booking website or travel agent gives you that connection then you'll be just fine.
