Help! I need help booking my first european train

I'm looking to book the VENICE -> PARIS overnight train on April 24, 2008. The one at 20:07PM - 8: 47AM, train number 220.

The problem is getting a 2-person cabin- all I see is a 4-person T4 berth.

Can anyone help me please find a 2-person cabin for this train ride? I'd be eternally grateful.

The 220 Stendhal night train does show 2-bed compartments and 3-bed compartments. Often, you may have to buy all three to get 2-bed privacy. I'm looking at 350euro for 2 people.

CLICK HERE to see what I see.

Let's see if "Night Train" Tim from Minot, N.D. shows up to clarify. He's much better than I am on night trains. Note that you can fly Venice/Paris much cheaper and faster.

Check http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html to access the Italian national rail service. They have "double seat" compartments available, which turn into two beds. However, a check shows no doubles or even triples available for the night you want....so they may be all booked up. They're also expensive! You might want to consider flying, then staying at a cheap hotel near the airport before heading into Paris. Easyjet, Vueling, and Myair all fly Venice Marco Polo to CDG or Orly, but book soonest to get a cheap deal.

we took this train back from Venice to see Paul MeCartney perform in Paris. We had a 2 person w/ shower. But the Italians just went on strike the night of our trip, so there was no AC and no other services that we'd paid for. I'd fly if prices are comparable.
