I am finshing up my trip of the Normandy area with a day in Bayeux. My train leaves late afternoon. I want so badly to see Arromanhes 360 theater, and beach...Does anyone know how I can get there, besides drive...would love a 1/2 tour, but even a taxi or bus will do....Any suggestions or links? Is the theater and the beach close to each other?

You may be able to get a taxi but we had a rental car. The theater is on a bluff overlooking to beach. It's a 10 minute walk down to the town and beach from the theater.

Pattie , like Stephen we also had a car , which I feel is the best way to see this area . Arromanches is about six miles from Bayeux . There is bus service from Bayeux to Arromanches and other destinations along the coast operated by Bus Verts .Go to the website for schedules and information . For my money , a car is the best way to see the Overlord sites . Driving in the area is very easy and if you do some advance " homework " about June 6 ,the impact of your visit will be very meaningful .
