I'm looking for a two-night stay in Heidelberg in August for two college students on their first trip to Europe. Can anyone recommend a place for no more than 80 euros per night? I'm not having much luck. Many thanks.

is that 80 euros each or 80 together? we have stayed at the Acor and at Hotel am Markt. Both were over 100 euros for a double. But that did include a nice breakfast.

There is a youth hostel that's right on the river. I stayed there many, many years ago and it looks like the charge about 20 plus euros. It's on a bus route and has singles and doubles. Google youth hostel Heidelberg.

Grazie mille for everyone's help. At this late in the search, it really helps to have the names of hotels/hostels that aren't listed in travel books, many of which are often booked by now. Buon viaggio tutti!
